JAK X HUARTE
In March of 2023, JAK supported HUARTE with 18 pairs of the white Royal Lite model, that were used at our Fall/Winter 23-24 show presented during Portugal Fashion week.
The shoes were used for just 10 minutes on the catwalk.
After that, they weren't in mint condition to be sold, but we didn't want to throw them away, so we gave them a second chance.
We re-lasted them and replaced the soles with new ones, personalised with our iconic colours of the "Classico" collection. We created a Limited Edition of 18 unique pieces and gave them a second life. This is a special Limited Edition of only 18 pairs of JAK that walked on the Portugal Fashion catwalk, each of them with a serial number. Upcycled, Genderless, Sustainable. It's now or never.
We are committed to having a positive impact on the lives of others. For this reason 100% of our profit from the JAKxHUARTE collaboration be donated to Pais 21, a Portuguese association that provides support, advocacy, and resources to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.
